I am sometimes fortunate enough to have people send me bottles of wine (usually patients), and here I discuss some of the nicer ones.

Gewurztraminer --

Claiborne and Churchill, Central Coast Dry Gewurztraminer, Austrian Style. 13.4% alcohol

This is a fine white wine for those of you who like this particular grape. Gewurz is a little "spicy" -- it is not a dessert wine but rather one that you might enjoy with dinner.
