Dr. Hain is locally known as the "Dizzy Doctor". Dr. Hain's clinical activities naturally "revolve" around evaluating and treating dizzy individuals. The rest of his time is spent on research projects aimed at improving the lot of dizzy patients (especially those with gentamicin toxicity or perilymph fistula), mathematical modeling of vocal and head motor control, medical education (Dr. Hain is a former clerkship director for Neurology and supervises research fellows) and driving his children around. He also is particularly interested in Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo as well as vestibular ototoxicity.
